So, I was quite disappointed last night. The service was excellent as usual but the food left me wanting more. I had the prawn starter which was bland and just needed something extra. My husband had the duck starter which had more flavour but the elements on the plate didn’t work well together. The palate cleanser was lovely.
For the mains, I had the chicken. This was a lovely dish until I cut into the breast. It was dry and very over cooked. This is something I don’t expect from this level of restaurant. My husbands lamb was okay but nothing world shattering!
The deserts looked amazing. Both my husband and I, aren’t fans of cheesecake but it was the best dish of the meal. I will definitely go back for the cheesecake. And the the apple tart on the plate. Gosh! Uncooked pastry. Very disappointing.
I’m not sure what happened last night but we were very disappointed.
A lovely restaurant with an awesome view, really great staff and delectable food on the menu. A bit expensive for the amount of food you get but the quality is well worth it.
Made a great impression on me, especially the great service. If you want to have a memorable meal, this is the place to be!
