Awesome take upmarket on the classic steakhouse.
Great food and relaxed atmosphere.
Service could do with a bit of attention but we were only there for sunday lunch so perhaps the quietest of times to test.
Delicious food with complex complementary flavours, beautifully presented. A little over salted for my taste.
The restaurant lacks soft furnishings which would dampen the noise of other customers and the neighbouring conversations can be intrusive if the people are boisterous. Great dining experience
Place was packed when we arrived but probably because it was Restaurant Week.
No one to great at the door so had to wonder around to find my table.
Service good. Waiter had good knowledge of the menu. We needed to do a veggie substitution and manager came to speak to us and happily explained the alternatives.

Food was great and tasty. Beautifully plated. And wonderful flavours.
The desserts were sublime- chocolate fondant and creme brûlée
We really enjoyed our meal. It wasn't 5 star as we thought the fish was overspiced and the lime buerre blanc was not to our liking. However we both enjoyed our starters, the fillet main was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were terrific. We were over-fed, will definitely choose a 2-course option in future because 3 courses were too much.

Our calamari starters were just that and it is the first reason I shall be back soon (because it is served in the main section of the menu too!). Followed by steaks... okay, I always need a little more pepper, but it was prepared nearly perfect. After the first two courses, the very tasty brulee seemed a little too generous for us. Wouldn't a really good restaurant have portion size as an option too? I'm just annoying the chef, it was delicious! Eric, who served us, seemed to have perfect timing for every intercession at out table. Well done, Patina, a steakhouse with lots of surprises.

About Patina Steak & Fine Wine
Before you even take your first bite, there are clues galore that this is no average steakhouse: the superb wine-by-the-glass list (the “Fine Wine” in its name kind of gives that part away); the small but select starter menu (carpaccio with pickled shallots, mustard seeds, radish, smoked salt and olive oil); the slick interiors; and, of course, the perfectly prepared steaks – made with aged Chalmar beef.
