The food was tasty and the flavours complimented each other. The presentation was also excellent! The service was very friendly and efficient.

It is quite difficult to choose as the description of each dish is very detailed and as a top restaurant in Franschhoek one can imagine that all the food on the menu will be excellent. We all choose the sword fish as a starter as this is a rare meal to find. It was an excellent choice as the combination of orange and caviar is an extra ordinary explosion of flavours.
For the main course I choose the short ribs and my wive the pork belly. Both dishes was a delightful combination of flavours. But the short ribs was the best short ribs I had so far.
The meal was finished by an amazing dessert.
I would just recommend a single estate coffee to finish such an excellent meal rather than an commodity coffee.

We visited this restaurant in November 2018, so were anticipating a really great meal. Terrence, our waiter was very good, we each had a glass of L'Omarins Brut as a welcome drink. The starters were very good, and 2 of us had a really good main, pork belly and hake. However, Peter ordered the Beef shortrib which was recommended by Terrence, and it was EXTREMELY salty, and resembled pulled beef (not Shortrib), so he only ate a small portion of it and bought it to the attention of the waiter. But nothing was said or done about it, at the time of the complaint. When the bill came, we were charged in full, and only then did Terrence attempt to do something about this. But we told him it was too late ! Very disappointed, as if we knew we were paying in full for a meal that was not satisfactory, we would have taken the leftovers for our dogs. Sorry, but will not return.
I had the duck from the Main- was alil tough but everything else was great! Wine selection and pairing was also spot on
The service and dining experience was sublime. Absolutely enjoyed the evening with my wife. Staff was attentive and accommodating.
