The layout is large and spacious with tasteful decor that fits in with the restaurant theme. The food was tasty, generous and well presented, with a fantastic choice of wine and beverages.
We ate the halloumi and calamari starters which were delicious, then had rump steak (it is a steak restaurant after all) for the main course which was cooked to perfection - medium rare as requested. I'm keen to go back soon and try out their other menu offerings.

The steak was perfectly cooked paired with pap is truly a South African thing, and hell it was gooooood!
We enjoyed a lovely evening out with good food, low rumble of patrons in the background and a service that did not miss a step.
we had made a reservation for 7:30 and we arrived slightly earlier. Our table was set and ready.
We were welcomed and shown to our table. The starters were great. I had chicken wings, delicious!
For mains I had steak and veggies which were also great.
The service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait long between ordering. Great ambiance, I’d definitely go again!

Butcher Block was founded in 2003 by Manuel, and has since grown into a well-known and highly respected steakhouse company.
