Swan Cafe is not difficult to find.
It's a quaint place .. another way of saying not too much elbow room and if you like that sort vibe, it's all good and well. I prefer a quieter place and that is personal preference. Fortunately a table in a quieter corner had just been vacated and the staff were happy to seat us there rather than what felt like the general walkway.
The service was excellent except for having to check a couple of times exactly what was available on the lunch deal. Maybe provide a special menu for restaurant week clients so there is no confusion of choice.

The food we chose was amazing and more than plentiful. My husband's criteria is quantity before quality.

Unless one has the most expensive items available there is absolutely no gain in the "special restaurant week deal"
I worked out we saved a princely amount of R5 based on normal menu prices. I expected better savings.

About Swan Cafe

Step into Swan… a café and crêperie transported straight from a Paris sidewalk with an air of bonhomie, a look of South Bank chic, waiters in Breton stripes and the pièce de résistance: amazing crêpes, as thin as a French mademoiselle, as full bodied as a mythological Leda with a flick of cream, a wink of cinnamon and an oh là là of chocolate. For the guilty and gluten-free there are sinfully good-for-you savoury buckwheat-based galettes. And to accentuate it all: exclusively blended teas with names like French Kiss, Paris Je T’aime, Teint de Pêche and A Minty Affair; steeped in the perfume of Paris, sipped with the promise of ‘encore’… you’ll be back for more.
