I booked, however, upon arrival they were uncertain about our booking, after arriving and no staff were wearing masks and asking why this is the case and being laughed at and told "I don't have an answer for you", we decided to rather go elsewhere.
I love Asian cuisine and was looking forward after hearing good things about boudha lounge, however, pure disappointment on my side

We booked at Boudha Lounge in Cpt. Dinner for two @ R450 each.
The place was filthy and unhygienic and would fail most Covid-19 protocols.
The restaurant area was empty but for a few disappointed diners. Most of the patrons were in the lounge area, a young and urban crowd drinking and dancing as DJ played hip hop/R&B. Food was poor, for R450 three course meal (which was meant to be the special price) food was poorly prepared, presented and tasted average at best. Simply Asia is ten times better. This just felt like a complete ripoff and scam when compared to the information given by Restaurant Week as well as internet reviews. The restaurant is a very pathetic attempt at fine dining/authentic Asian cuisine. I am very disappointed and this is the last time I participate in restaurant week which I now feel is a scam.
