The meat/seafood tapas were absolutely amazing. We were however let down by the desserts. Otherwise everything was amazing!
The setup was good, the vibe amazing and drinks were an absolute winner! ❤️
We had dinner at A Streetbar named Desire - I’ve been dying to go for ages. All I can say is wow! The food was delicious, especially the Iraqi spiced chicken, Za’atar chicken and squid. The service was also fantastic. I will definitely be going back!
A delightful melange of tastes, both in the cocktails and the tapas. Very friendly and efficient service, and a vibey atmosphere..

About A Streetbar Named Desire
Cuisine: Spanish / Tapas
True to its name, A Streetbar Named Desire is a trendy bar overlooking the street. The first-floor balcony offers a nice view of busy Jan Smuts Ave; at happy hour it's crowded with young professionals sipping cocktails and nibbling tapas. Streetbar's menu and decor are clever, playing off scenes from the Tennessee Williams play A Streetcar Named Desire.
