The set 4 course menu was lovely. The lamb open ravioli was very tasty and extremely rich. We had one vegetarian that was fully catered for, the arancini balls were divine. Creme brulee...the only low point....TOO LITTLE! :) We could have dived into a vat of it it was that good. Staff were great, service was good.
Beautifully cosy restaurant with exceptional service which was somewhat let down by the food. The meals were underseasoned which wouldnt be an issue if seasoning was freely available. (The single salt mill and bottle of olive oil being passed around from table to table was an embarrassment)

The open ravioli was the star of the show, especially pared with the gorgeous Malbec. The crème brûleé was a bit of a disaster with the sugar layer being too thick and overcaramelised which affected the texture of the custard underneath.
I will be be back for the lovely ambiance and to try the sizzling steaks.
Over the top delicious and value with restaurant week!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 course lunch date restaurant special yesterday. We started with our Caprese salad, which was a very attractive portion of slices of mozzarella and beef tomato interleaved with fresh basil. Next the beef caprese salad again very nicely presented (maybe a few too many leaves)...

Next the beef caprese salad again very nicely presented (maybe a few too many leaves). Next was the deconstructed Lamb Ravioli this was the highlight for my husband. Very nice Mexican type flavor he said. Finally the Creme Brûlée which was my favourite. Hard caramel which you had to smash with your spoon to reveal a silky brûlée underneath. Delicious! Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a lovely food and beverage manager who enlightened us on the Zinfandel gin they are going to launch later in the year made this a really enjoyable and highly recommended lunch venue.
