With the chaos of Rosebank and Johannesburg it is nice to know tranquillity can be found at Clico. Everything is perfect, the greetings of the staff the music choice and even the weather played its part. Our dietary needs were also looked after.

The food is what you'd except from the establishment. The trout starter was a hit, great start. The pesto bread offering was superb as well. I did feel that the pear salad needed a little something extra to take it up a level. The main was seabass which also hit the spot!
Without a doubt the real winner was the dessert. For those choosing the chocolate dessert, you will have a 10 year KWV to really end the night with fireworks.
Thanks to all at Clico, it was a perfect joburg evening.
Such a lovely evening and venue. Food and service amazing. Will definitely be back.
The food and wine pairing were delicous and to end our evening the chef came out to ask us how our evening was and to thank us for coming! Highly recommend this restaurant and going back as soon as we can.

The wine and food pairing worked well and complemented each other. My only complaint will be the size of the servings. I personally felt that the portion sizes could have been a little bigger (+- 15 - 20%) with the exception of dessert, which was the perfect size. We had some toast at home afterwards as we still felt a little hungry.
I have to reiterate that all of us really enjoyed the experience and I will go back again any time to Clico.
We had a really great evening at Clico for Restaurant Week 2017!!!
Had the most amazing evening. Every single person was so friendly. The food was phenomenal.
