The food was alright, but was missing the creativity and complexity that one expects at a fine dining restaurant. The wine was more like a tasting portion than a pairing portion and the waiters were very reluctant to top up our glasses. This was not the case before and put a bit of a damper on the evening. The pairings themselves were also not very inpsired. Overal quite an average experience.
What a breath of fresh air. Such genuine friendly service without the snobbery that normally comes with fine dining. A romantic setting. Food was delicious- we had the chicken and lamb main courses with the chocolate dessert which was big enough to share. Terry, the Sous-chef came to chat to us. Overall a fantastic experience.

Throughout the night, they were very attentive and honestly, one of the few restaurants I've been to lately with such friendly staff. The food was exquisite! Starting with an amazing duck breast, complimentary of the chef, to a butternut filled pasta for a starter, a pork chop for the mains which was cooked very well and an amazing lime pie for dessert. The food was presented very well and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place and is definitely worth a visit.
The butternut agnolotti was disappointing, there were only 3 very small pasta parcels and where the pasta was pressed together it was a bit hard and too thick - definitely not worth R100.
The calamari & goat cheese salad was delicious - a real winner.
The staff were great.
Our lunch was delicious, served in a beautiful setting. The restaurant week specials were uninspiring!
