"Lovely experience"

We enjoyed our lunch despite the horrendous amount of flies, which quite frankly was very off putting - they had to change my glass of wine 3 times, as flies kept landing in the wine.

The food was excellent, although on the 4 course menu, there was sole supposedly, but we received a piece of wish with plenty of bones.

The service was very friendly and they made us welcome.

Lunch at Roots, was perfect. A true taste experience with meals that were exciting. The flavors, combinations were incredible. The bread accompanied by sesame seed butter followed by fish starter, then the duck and vegetables with a berry sauce, and dessert: panacotta strawberry flavored gel and the chocolate covered nuts... I’ve simplified the meals with my description but it was more than 2 items it was delicious with taste combinations that you wanted to savor forever. The portion sizes were perfect - i was satisfied with my culinary experience. What an incredible lunchtime treat. I was truly spoilt with this experience. Thank you Roots, Restaurant week and Zydah!

Good food and wonderful service, the starter was not my taste and the duck should have been a bit crispier other than that the food was tasty.

The venue has a serious fly problem which became annoying while trying to eat your food and keep the flies away.

Very warm welcome except for the ushering lady with list of bookings who was executing her duties without applying her mind, but waiters very pleasant and professional. Had a three course meal and interesting change from your 7-9 course meals but welcomed. It would be great to find a solution to the flies as they were a destruction but ambience great, and excellent views.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

2. How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation for every reservation within a few minutes at the email address you provided. Haven't received anything? Please check your spam folder.

3. I follow a special diet. Can the restaurant accommodate that?

4. Are drinks included in the menu price?

In most deals, drinks are not included.

5. How can I change my reservation?

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
