"Definitely worth the trip"

There is nothing bad to say about the Restaurant beside how far it is, but once you get to the Restaurant, it is all worth it.

The ambiance is wonderful, beautifully set out. The service is amazing, dishes come out with out a long wait. I think the drive took longer than for the 3 courses to come out!

The starter is definitely the best dish of the evening.

"Excellent as usual..."

What a super experience! The food, the service and the setting was amazing as usual. The only negative was that the restaurant was full of flies and we constantly had to swat them away from our food.

This was, as expected, a great evening out. Food was tops, no faults. The highlight for me was dessert, with the fig sorbet the standout. Very well done. You also can't beat the ambiance.

This was, as expected, a great evening out. Food was tops, no faults. The highlight for me was dessert, with the fig sorbet the standout. Very well done. You also can't beat the ambiance.

The service was nice, but we definitely felt like we got lost in the system. Gate security had no record of our pre-booking. Upon seating, we were presented with the main set menu rather than the restaurant week menu. We suspected it wasn't right, but it took more than one waiter and about 10 minutes to sort it out. The rest of the meal felt a bit rushed and remote, with only the very knowledgeable sommelier having any real meaningful contact with us.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

You will receive a confirmation for every reservation within a few minutes at the email address you provided. Haven't received anything? Please check your spam folder.

4. Are drinks included in the menu price?

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

9. What is Restaurant Week South Africa?

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
