"IL TARTUFO did it again"

I have not been there for 2 years but what a lovely evening again. Food was excellent and nicely portioned. Service was good and the manager/owner/chef was around too. Lovely evening. I can recommend.

"Delicious but slow "

The food was really good. Well flavoured and beautifully presented. But the service was really slow. There was a lot of clanging and banging from the kitchen. The staff was friendly and the waiter was friendly.

"Good Food, but the wait can be shorter..."

waited a long time for food, restaurant was not full, only had 5 tables with guests. overall the food was a bit on the salty side, but presentation and flavor were good. I was given incorrect cutlery for my seafood dish, minor issue, but can be improved.

overall, it's good, with rooms for improvement

The food was amazing.
Every course was delicious.
delicious gnocchi
awesome pumpkin flan and cheese sauce
great chicken
tasty sorbet
I don't think there was a single dish we didn't enjoy.
We will definitely be back for more.

The restaurant was a little empty and quiet when we arrived, but by the time we left it had filled out, and was a great place to be.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

2. How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation for every reservation within a few minutes at the email address you provided. Haven't received anything? Please check your spam folder.

3. I follow a special diet. Can the restaurant accommodate that?

4. Are drinks included in the menu price?

In most deals, drinks are not included.

5. How can I change my reservation?

6. How can I cancel my reservation?

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
