Visiting this unique place just off Kloof Street in Park Street was a winner. The atmosphere is out of this world. You walk into another dimension. The service from the arrival was amazing super friendly and welcoming. We were seated at a table near a fire place and the waiter was Prince a great friendly guy who went out of his way to make us happy. The food is very good. A selection of classics mixed with authentic North African dishes. Go for any of them you won't be dissapointed. All of the food that we had was outstanding presentation very good. The pricing was good for the quality and the quantity was more than enough. The starter tapas was excellent. The main courses great don't forget the desserts. The bar is just beautiful and a great place to be before and after dinner or lunch. Overall a brilliant place we will be back again and again.

I have been to Rick's on many occasions and I have never left without thoroughly enjoying the experience and the food. It's one of my favourite places to take visitors to Cape Town and they have all had a great time. Try the lamb or seafood tagines, they are wonderful. Having visited Morocco and eaten many authentic tagine dishes I can honestly say that this is the closest I've got to the real thing. You won't be disappointed, give Rick's a try and I'm sure it'll be on your regular restaurant list soon

We arrived halfway through the World Cup Rugby Final so you can appreciate the activity and noise. It was fantastic. We got a cosy table outside behind a weather curtain and drinks arrived quite promptly. The menu on offer was good and tasted fantastic. The pudding was really special, in fact the chocolate Samoosa was so rich we both took the second one home for our daughter.
More impressive was the normal menu. There are quite few things on the normal menu that we are going to have to come back for.
If this restaurant was in my neighbourhood, it would be my local. Very nice indeed with a special vibe. Service was top-notch.

This is such a nice place for lounging on a roof terrace enjoying sunshine, or in wintertime sit next to the fireplace with a glas of red wine...
