We had a very disappointing Christmas Day lunch.The usual Sunday carvery have been so much better and enjoyable.
Veg.poor ,no Brussels sprouts,just little very hard sticks that ,I presume were meant to be carrots,but were uneatable. We.expected a serving dish of roast potatoes.After asking around at the meat section ,two tiny greasy potatoes were lifted out of the fat.As for the meat,all very tough .The chicken looked so unappetizing ,looked like the cheap bags bought at the supermarkets !!! I don't know who the chef is but looks as though he is completely untrained. As for the puds. very uninspiring.
The Hotel looked very unChristmassy, no decorations,no Christmas music.Little effort had been put into the table decorations and as for the crackers they were deplorable. All in all a very disappointing meal.We will not be visiting the Hilton Hotel again.
