We enjoyed a superb set menu of duck, then braised beef cheeks, with a finale of thyme ice cream and orange chocolate sauce. The entire meal was expertly crafted and skilfully mixed flavours and textures and colours to excellent effect. These chefs really know their stuff! Our waitress, Michelle Swart, was outstanding in every way. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and its preparation, as well as the wines each dish was accompanied by. All in all a wonderful dinner.
All three courses had new and interesting combinations. The beef cheek was excellent. The Liquor with The dessert was too strong.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening. With excellent food.
I was pleasantly surprised! The food presentation was beautiful and the taste matched. I had the aubergine lasagna. Cheesy, creamy delicious, and ended my lunch off with the most amazing brownie ever!

It was nice to see them cater for vegetarians (my wife being one). The vast majority of other restaurants simply seem to negate vegetarians (you can only eat so much salad). The starter, a deconstructed Ratatouille salad, was refreshing. The Chef really showed a respect for vegetables, they where crisp with a lot of flavour. I have the lamb burger which was (in my opinion) a bit better done that I ordered, and the aubergine skin was a bit tough, but still juicy and really flavourful. The star must have been the Aubergine lasagne that my wife had. Really smoky, flavourful dish, and a huge potion to boot. If this was on their regular menu, I can see us going back just for that! All in all really good experience.
