I do, however, feel that this 5 star restaurant is wasted in Hout Bay. We went on a friday night with very few other diners. The prices may be on the high side for most locals, thus the empty tables. I am aware that Quinten is a well renowned chef and should be celebrated accordingly. My husband and I had a wonderful evening and will be going back for more!
This is my third visit to Quentins and once again we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.
This is my third visit to Quentins and it did not disappoint. The food is always excellent, the service friendly and good and the atmosphere wonderful. I find that there is generally an older clientele and I think we may have been a little loud this time but it was only because we had so much fun.
We had the most wonderful evening. The food and service were fantastic. We will definitely be back.
Quentin's really got into the spirit of restaurant week! Great welcome by friendly management and staff. Three-piece group playing popular classics. And a well-considered menu with the option to choose from the full menu for any course.

The mussel starter was a bit disappointing but the asparagus with quail's eggs was realy tasty. The rack of lamb main course was really delicious - wonderful fusion of flavours.
The two desserts on the special menu were also delicious - especially the pear and almond tart. We were advised to order this at the beginning of the meal as it takes 30 minutes to cook. Good advice!
It was our first time at Quentin's. We'll be back!
