The menu has changed somewhat since 1994, yet the favourites still remain, such as the Grandma burger and Andy’s fish n chips. To keep the menu fresh, varied and interesting there are monthly specials. The wine list is extensive, inexpensive featuring some unique estates.
The Giles cartoon theme still remains on the tables within and within the menu with additions from Ian’s personal collections that he drew.
When it comes to food, we like to keep it simple. Fresh and seasonal are the guidelines by which our dedicated team of chefs produce flavoursome, authentic, from scratch dishes.
One thing we’re real proud of here at Giles is our commitment to the old ways. We do most of our preparation from scratch, that means, good old fashioned home baked breads & pastries. Soups and sauces made from natural stocks and hand cut chips from fresh potatoes
