"Athol Place dinner"

We had dinner there on 29 October 2019. Pleasant enough environment and the service was friendly. The food was good but not outstanding. Salmon starter was a little bland with some conflicting flavors. The main course and desert were better but, in my opinion, did not warrant the price compared to other good quality...

"Atholl Place"

The menu was good and the food tasty. The portions were small but over the 3 courses, it was sufficient. We enjoyed our evening, but were not wowed by it, and left feeling like we had not really got value for money (even with the restaurant week discount!).

"Beautiful setting, average food"

The starter of salmon gravlax and pressed apple was lovely.

The main of venison loan was perfectly cooked, but the potato gratin was undercooked and flavorless and the vegetables were lackluster.

The dessert was advertised as a chocolate torte, but it was basically a brownie. The buttermilk ice cream had an icu texture.

"A hidden gem "

We really had a good experience. Restaurant is part of a boutique hotel so it is a very nice and quiet. What stood out for me is how welcome we felt, even though we were not checked in guests. Waiters were attentive without being in the way - a definite plus in my book :-).

Definitely a hidden gem if quality food is what you are looking for.

Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
