We were greeted, ushered to our seats, had a lovely waiter who served us some delicious calamari with squid ink - amazing.
For starters we had the cauliflower soup and pork belly. Both delicious, but the pork belly was the stand out star of the night.

For mains, both of us had the beef cheek, which was nice, but couldn't compare to the rest of the meal.
Dessert included a lime thingy which was lovely and a generous cheese board which was amazing (although the bread sticks didn't quite work, not lending themselves to eating them with the cheese and strawberry preserve).
Overall, an absolutely marvellous evening, and we will definitely be back.
Everything was great. Braised Beef portion was very big considering how rich it was. Staff very friendly, delicious and lovely environment. Will definitely be back.

Read full reviewThe experience was ok.I wish it was a little bit better as I had brought my family to the establishment for my mom's birthday.On arrival it took us over ten mins to get in because our booking was not communicated to the establishment via the online booking I had made on restaurant week.The lady who was at reception also was unfriendly and unprofessional by informing the gentleman at the gate that If we had no booking the establishment would not be taking any more people yet we had a booking.Only to find out once were inside that the establishment was completely empty for entire night.The set Main meal I had which was the beef cheek was horrible and could not eat it. I am also not interested in knowing how you charge because I thought it beeing restaurant week you get charged R450 for entire three course meal.On our bill we were charged for the starter R150 extra.Just need clarity how this work.
