The mesmerizing atmosphere welcomed us with a promise of what's to come, a scent dancing in the air tingling the anticipation of every taste bud. Since I chose Nobu to host my wife's milestone 30th birthday, I cautiously prayed that the experience would not be a forgettable let down on such a big day. All I can say is that when we got home, she remarked; "This was the best birthday I've ever had".
Thank you to the chefs, the servers, the folks at Vista, the entire O&O staffing compliment - you made this an experience an unforgettable night for us. The food, an everest of expectation, was excessively more than we could ever have imagined. What the heck was in that sushi? I still dream about it...

Overall I would still recommend Nobu. The service was exemplary and each course (exept the lamb) was outstanding. Very disappointing, asked for my lamb to be medium rare but went presented was medium to well done. It has been charge grilled so all there was no flavor to the meat and over cooked.
Good food and excelent service
My all times favorite dining spot!

About Nobu
Cuisine: Japanese / Sushi
Nobu
No stranger to international culinary influences, Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist with a Peruvian influence. Diners can indulge in fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices in mesmerising dishes such as Sake Roast Whitefish with Jalapeno or the Chocolate Bento Box; a dark chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream and a sesame seed tuile. A sweeping fan-like staircase leads to the 104 seat dining area and sushi counter, which is framed by a textured, translucent origami light that glides along the ceiling. The upper-level Nobu Lounge features a selection of Sakes including Japanese beer and Shochu based cocktails.
