Beautifully decorated restaurant with great music to complement it. It really feels like an upper class trendy restaurant.
The food was all good, but out of the 7 courses that we had only one of the Nigiri (salmon) and the green tea ice cream were considered amazing. For the price you would expect better.

Nobu boasts exclusively imported sake and I have to say this is the first sake I've had that was delicious.
Exceptional service. Food that is true and pure artistry. Amazing flavours and each course more sublime then the next. The kingklip on watermelon was phenomenal. The fillet melted liked butter. The cheesecake was light and creamy and perfect

From the warm welcome in the bar/lounge area of the hotel (while we waited for the restaurant to officially open) to the delicious cheesecake with strawberry sorbet at the end, it was an experience to remember and we will definitely be back. Imaginative and well thought out cuisine.

We were seated and offered drinks before starting on the skillfully selected and impeccably prepared set menu. Highlights included the yellowtail soy and wasabi starter, baby spinach shrimps and truffles, tempura kingklip and perfectly prepared beef fillet. The service was exceptional, all the serving staff deserve praise. And a raise ;) They are a credit to the restaurant and were integral to our fantastic experience.
Fantastic 5 course meal! One course wasn't to our personal taste, but they made us something else, that was really great. They went above and beyond to make sure we're happy.

About Nobu
Cuisine: Japanese / Sushi
Nobu
No stranger to international culinary influences, Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist with a Peruvian influence. Diners can indulge in fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices in mesmerising dishes such as Sake Roast Whitefish with Jalapeno or the Chocolate Bento Box; a dark chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream and a sesame seed tuile. A sweeping fan-like staircase leads to the 104 seat dining area and sushi counter, which is framed by a textured, translucent origami light that glides along the ceiling. The upper-level Nobu Lounge features a selection of Sakes including Japanese beer and Shochu based cocktails.
