luckily the sweet treats were set up Buffet style, so we were able to help ourselves.

The sweet and savoury goodies, we all extremely delicious.

I will defiantly be back for their afternoon tea, great experience

My boyfriend and I went for afternoon tea yesterday at Vista Lounge @ The One & Only in the V&A, as part of the CT Restaurant Week.
With fairly high expectations given the location and venue, we were disappointed - The positives: great cake/sweets table, nice view. The negatives: rubbish sandwiches (stale bread)...

With fairly high expectations given the location and venue, we were disappointed - The positives: great cake/sweets table, nice view. The negatives: rubbish sandwiches (stale bread) and a couple of random savouries on the smallest plate, R85 for a glass of sparkling wine, disappointing service and we could not believe it when the bill finally came (they had no idea what Restaurant Week was), and we received just R15 off per person for being Restaurant Week guests!
Do not waste your time on this place, spend your money on a proper afternoon tea (as it should done, I'm British after all), at the Mount Nelson hotel!
