Thank you for a special Diners Week lunch.
5 star experience. Beautiful setting, superb food and excellent service topped with a table visit by the brilliant, friendly chef! Definitely a restaurant well worth visiting.
Definitely worth going past Toadbury Hall when on a scenic "Sunday drive". Excellent food, service and value for money. Was pleasantly surprised.
The place is lovely, not well marked so we struggled to find it as there is no restaurant called "bijou" on google maps - and we did not know it was part of the Toadbury hall venue.
Starter: Pork Pie, pastry the size of a side plate with only a small heap of filling in the middlle.
Main: Sirloin great, fish was great and pork belly was great
did not have dessert
Food was divine and the country setting makes it feel like you're on holiday. The service was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
