It also came with chips. Desert was a perfect smaller portion to share. So good. This was my first time at Papas and will definitely come back. 4 managers came past to ask how everything was. I had the chicken souvlaki and it was bland tasteless, portion was also small. The butternut served with the beef ribs was salty and the chef said that's how its prepared. This was also sent back from my husband who is a qualified Chef in fine dining, it was an insult when the chef didnt offer to fix it we had to suggest a fixing option. We waited extremely long for the mains we were 13 people that was not nice. The malva was not good and the portions of the malva and baklava was bite size not even dessert size also a disappointment. We definitely wont be returning to this restaurant.

While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.
Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We have noted your concerns, and I have discussed this with the chef and manager on duty. Yes, we season our butternut with salt and pepper and let the natural sweetness come through, but it shouldn't have been too salty. Your mains took 34 minutes after ordering, and for a 13-seater table, it should have taken a maximum of 25 minutes. We do regret this.
