The food was absolutely delicious!
Even rating them 1/2 over 5 is me being generous , it should be a zero . The service is super slow , which makes no sense at all cause when we got there there was no one else there .

The food ? The starter for one , the plum they used on the Smoked Springbok Carpaccio was rotten , when we alerted one of the ladies who works there she didn’t even say sorry . She later said people order springbok not knowing how it tastes ; not sure if springbok meat maybe accelerates plums to rot quicker 🙃 . That Mimi lady has horrible customer service skills .
The main ? Their beef fillet ; beef wasn’t tasting nice I don’t know what to make of that taste . I couldn’t finish the meal . Their pork belly ? My friend had 1 bite and said it tastes off couldn’t bring herself to have more .Only thing we could finish was the soup and the dessert .
I’m not sure what the other people who rated this place well have been eating but I’m shocked , only positive thing about the whole experience is the manager being understanding when we refused to pay the full restaurant week experience price . The chef has good people skills pity we didn’t enjoy his food .
We went for the 4 course lunch on Sunday. The food was amazing. All the flavours came through. The service was very attentive but never intrusive. The setting was relaxed as the restaurant was not busy. The chef actually came out to say hello when the main course was delivered. This will be my go to restaurant in the future for special occasions.
Food was really nicely presented, well and flavourful
Food was absolutely divine.
