Loved the atmosphere and food! It was so tasty and the cocktails were amazing!
Great food, ambience and service
Pitty that La Boqueria didn't want to 'accept' my Restaurant Week booking and I had to assist that it's running until the 5th of May and had to show my booking summary in order for the restaurant staff to believe me (yet I had a reservation).
Service wasn't anything great but the food definitly was!
So a mix rating.
It was busy! Thembi our waitress was lovely and kept tabs on us. The food was great! Grilled Lime Tequila Tacos - Oh yes please! And the mocktail Lady Jane were great
We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch at La Boqueria. There was a tremendous range of choice in both the starter and main course sections. We eventually chose the calamari, the parmesan fennel and artichoke croquettes and the chicken tacos. The portions were generous and the dishes full of flavours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch at La Boqueria. There was a tremendous range of choice in both the starter and main course sections. We eventually chose the calamari, the parmesan fennel and artichoke croquettes and the chicken tacos. The portions were generous and the dishes full of flavours.
From an extensive list of main courses we chose the pork belly with pineapple salsa, the pork fillet with green peppercorns and the lamb enchiladas. The wine list is a treat with some unusual varietals and estates. The Radford Dale Chardonnay and Mason Road chenin blanc were great accompaniments to the excellent food. A trip to the cellar will reveal other wine treasures.
The service was impeccable and the ambience as good as we remember.

The menu encapsulates delicious Hispanic market-style food which leans towards sharing and feasting. From healthy Peruvian ceviche to Mexican tacos and Argentinian inspired asado, where dishes like lamb picanha and beef fillet kabobs are cooked over coals. The sharing plates for feasting include paellas, which are slow-cooked, in a traditional hearth for a delicious, smoky flavour, and sustainable whole fish from our coal oven.
