All the staff were very friendly and attentive during our visit, especially the owner / Manager on duty who ensured that we had a wonderful time.
For starters we shared their Salmon and the Parmi di Melanzane .
The Salmon, which was perfectly prepared with a lovely crisp seared skin on, was paired with pickled baby beetroot, green asparagus and colourful dabs of beetroot and basil puree. The plate not only looked too pretty to eat but was very flavourful too.
The Parmi di Melanzane was equally flavourful, with layers of thinly sliced aubergines, layered with, what tasted like a smokey, roasted tomato pesto. A great flavour combination and taking this lovely dish to the next level.
For mains we chose their Lasagne & Prawn Pasta.
The Open Lasagne, which consisted of home-made pasta sheets, bolognaise and parmigiana, was freshly prepared and very tasty. Very delicate flavours saluting the skill and technique of the chef and his kitchen.
The Pasta, which consisted of Squid Ink Fettuccini (the fettucine also tasted home-made), a wholesome combination of pan seared prawns and cauliflower florets which were very tasty and deliciously rich. This was topped with a beautiful big queen prawn.
After our lunch, we were offered a treat of a lovely Panna Cota (on the house). The rich creamy mould topped with a sweet Amaretto & berry drizzle.
The perfect desert for a perfect meal.
It's a nice place 😌 ☺ definitely coming again
