Protecting your privacy is extremely important to us. We collect customer information in an effort to improve your online experience and to communicate with you about our products, services, contests, and promotions. This website is run by restaurantweek.co.za (Restaurant Week South Africa) and diningcity.co.za (DiningCity South Africa). We are part of Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd.
1.1 This website is run by Restaurant Week South Africa and Dining City South Africa, brands owned by Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd. Whenever we refer to ‘us’ or ‘we’ this is who we mean.
1.2 We are a South African company. So, if there is ever a dispute between us, South African laws will apply.
2. What is this policy about?
We want you to understand what kind of personal information we collect, and what we do with it. This policy is part of our contract with you and it may change from time to time.
2.2 From time to time we may have to amend this policy to accommodate changes in our services, or if legal requirements change.
3. Who are you sharing your information with?
You are sharing your information with Restaurant Week South Africa and DiningCity South Africa, divisions of Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd. Sometimes we may need to share your PI with others to provide our services or if we are legally required to.

3.2 We do not sell or otherwise share your information with third parties aside from the sharing described in this section. In particular, we do not share information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes, unless you have given us consent.
3.3 If you are making use of a service provided by a third party via our site (e.g. you make a booking at a restaurant), you may be providing your personal information to them. They are responsible to ensure that your information is protected.

Any acquirer or successor of Restaurant Week South Africa, DiningCity South Africa or Label Orange Agency (Pty) Ltd may continue to use the information as explained in this policy.
4. What information do we collect and why?
We collect personal information when you register as a user on the website or if you post a review or comment.
4.1 When you register as a user on the website, we collect information directly from you, for example:
4.1.1 Your name;
4.1.3 contact details such as e-mail addresses and telephone numbers;
4.1.4 location information such as the city that you live in or the address of your venue;
4.1.5 your username and password.
4.2 When you post a review or a comment you give us permission to publish it.
4.3 We collect this information so we can communicate with you (for example if you sign up for our newsletter) and to correctly credit your content on our website.
5 Your rights and preferences
You have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to correct it and to opt out of any marketing.
5.1 You have the right to:
5.1.1 ask what PI we hold about you;
5.1.2 ask what information was sent to our service providers or any other third party;
5.1.3 ask us to update, correct or delete any out-of-date or incorrect PI we hold about you;
5.1.4 unsubscribe from any direct marketing communications we may send you;
5.1.5 object to the processing of your personal information.
5.2 It can take us up to 21 days to respond to your request.
5.3 You can request access to the information we hold about you or correct your PI by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
5.4 In certain cases we may require proof of your identity.
6 We will try to keep your information secure
We take your privacy and the security of your personal information seriously, but no system is 100% secure.
6.1 We have implemented reasonable security safeguards to protect the PI that you provide.
6.2 But no system is perfect and no service is 100% secure. So while we will do everything reasonably necessary to secure the information we cannot rule out unauthorised access, hacking, loss of information or a data breach.
