The service was mainly quite good, although some of the plating is somewhat extravagant and therefore difficult to handle. It is hard to fit a granite slab with a mirror on it, with elegance on a small table, without items sliding around on the plate. Our one lovely "caramel ball" fell right off the plate onto the table, and the manager ( who was serving us that course), picked it up off the table and simply put it back on the plate. The tables are very tiny, so perhaps simpler plating would be easier to manage. The dried ice effect was lovely!
The food was lovely, but I felt they were perhaps trying to be too unusual with some of their items. There were some delicious flavours and textures and there was definitely enough food. I would have appreciated a menu on the table.
The ambiance is quite lovely- but a pity it was so cold. Their heaters didn't effectively warm up the space and I felt cold the entire evening- I certainly couldn't remove my big coat.

Popcorn and caramel nuts I can make that at home. The follow up course portion was small and not enough to leave an impression. The palette cleanser was awful and left a lot to be desired. The main course was tasty but again something i could have made at home. The dessert too much chocolate and did not taste fresh and smooth as chocolate should be. The caramel sauce was grainy as well as the white chocolate mousse could not eat it. Surely there are better choices? Nice venue, but they need to up the cuisine for the price one is charged.
We had such a great time from the food, welcome drinks and the unexpected but amazing entertainment. Plus the building has a history you wouldn’t know about until told. Everything about this is a beautiful experience
Loved the experience of going to GAH. Food was fantastic and the venue and ambiance was great.
Look forward to returning!
The venue is unusual yet quite spectacular. Though the service was good, some waiters were unsure of the dishes they were serving, and this was truly disappointing. The food was in order but I would have expected finer cuisine. The evening out was pricey (table of 4). In summary we have dined at the venue now, but probably will not return!
