What an unbelievable experience! The atmosphere, the service and the food were all incredible. What a treat! I have to also make special mention of the pianist who was excellent. I didn’t want to leave!
Was a lovely meal, carefully prepared with excellent service. Portions could have been slightly bigger (but we are probably bigger eaters than most).
We certainly enjoyed our dining experience, our waitron was very informative and while we were waiting for our food we had a variety of breads and butter and pallet cleaners its the small touches that captured us, at the end of our dinner we also received mini sweet treats chocolate and some apple toffes. Overall the food was delicious and the whole ambiance was dreamy.
Staff were helpful and polite the minute we arrived . The staff in the dining hall added to the overall experience , great personalities and service . Food was delicious and filling as well . Money well spent .
Having never visited the Lord Nelson Restaurant, we were excited by the prospect, as we have already visited Planet Restaurant as well as having visited the Chef's Table,which we have loved by the way.

What a start to our Restaurant Week journey, our host, waiter and all the staff at Mount Nelson,made us feel extra special and the ambience and dishes were all top class.
