Had a magical experience. Wasn't the biggest fan of the Chicken Liver Parfait. The Pan Seared Scallop was perfect, melted in your mouth like butter. The Ostrich and Quail was the my favorite, Ostrich was done to perfection.
We booked for restaurant week 2023.
The starter was small but tasty. It described a seaweed custard but it was more like mayo.
The main was not great. Although the crayfish was well cooked and fresh, the accompanying white bean “ragout” lacked Flavour and there was no wasabi on that plate.
Dessert was nice.
The restaurant has an amazing ambiance with great views. The staff is very friendly and their service is even better. The Restaurant Week menu was good and the options delicious.
Amazing food and service. Professional staff and tasting menu had good choice. Cameron took the time to explain all the choices.
The service by Russell was amazing. Food needs to be a lot more bold in flavor. Food was well cooked.

About Head Chef Theodorus Karabo Chiloane
Born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. I enjoy uplifting people with food. Coming from a family of all boys, I was thrown into the kitchen at a young age, not knowing that the environment I was put in to survive would become one where I would build a career and ultimately thrive. Food brings people together. When my family gets together, food is often at the centre of that experience and I want to bring that joy and love to everyone who has my food.
