From the creamy mussels to the seared salmon and the camembert dessert and more, every plate created an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth. Rounded off by good coffee and impeccable and attentive service throughout; filled with a broad diversity of age and stage diners, La Boqueria is definitely a restaurant that has weathered the covid storm and returned as an eating force to be reckoned with.
Great service and amazing food.
Amazing food, service, ambience and overall experience! 10 out of 10!!
Loved the restaurant! Excellent food, friendly staff, great experience. Will definitely go back.
This was such a lovely experience for my girlfriend and I. The service was good, Wayne was a speedy waiter. The starter and desert portions were perfect. We found the mains quite big BUT delicious. Our favourite meal was the desert. The ambiance, the menu, and the staff were all spot on. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

About La Boqueria
Cuisine: Spanish
JOBURG'S BEST HISPANIC RESTAURANT
La Boqueria, situated in Parktown North, is an iconic eatery with sublime food and décor to match. The Hispanic-style restaurant makes you feel as though you’re sitting bar-side in Barcelona – complete with lazily spinning ceiling fans, hanging macramé plants, lush greenery and on-trend furnishings. It’s a treat for the senses and the taste buds.
LA BOQUERIA IS OUR LOVE LETTER TO HISPANIC FOOD
The menu encapsulates delicious Hispanic market-style food which leans towards sharing and feasting. From healthy Peruvian ceviche to Mexican tacos and Argentinian inspired asado, where dishes like lamb picanha and beef fillet kabobs are cooked over coals. The sharing plates for feasting include paellas, which are slow-cooked, in a traditional hearth for a delicious, smoky flavour, and sustainable whole fish from our coal oven.
