The meal didn't really start out too well. The rolls were ever-so-slightly old. Maybe baked early in the morning and reheated.
It did get much better from there. The Arancini balls were good, as was my Asparagus and Pancetta. The mains were excellent. The gnocci was very tasty, but the osso bucco was tender and delicious! We finished off with the chocolate fondant, which exploded chocolaty goodness all over the plate and the lemon meringue tartlet left us with a sweet and sour tastebud extravaganza.
Thulani was excellent in his service levels and friendliness. Food was promised and delivered in very good time.
The parking was a little bit of an issue as people seem to park as they please, but this is no fault of the establishment.
Sotto Sopra has two areas, a bar and quick food area, which has the party vibe and a second, more sedate evening dinner area. We were glad to have been seated in the latter.
I would return.
