Visiting Jéan Restaurant was a true treat, from the second I walked in to the time I left. Our server was attentive and friendly, food was beautifully plated and tasted amazing.
First time there but it was so fantastic that we made another booking again. I had one of the best Pork Bellys ever. Beautifully presentation. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Our waitor was Isak, excellent service from him.
For starters, we had the Fresh Citrus with textures of Heirloom carrots and Labneh salad with a Boold orange vinaigrette with a few sunflower seeds and praline.
The citrus was a combo of normal oranges and blood oranges. Very refreshing, Excellent idea for a sum...

Next was the Hot Prawn & Dumpling broth, oh my an Asian explosion in your mouth, with just the right amount of kick in the broth. If you have any sinus issues it will sort you out...
Pork belly was the Bomb!!! Yes the Impala loin was tender, but no match for the Glazed Pork Belly. Love love LOVED IT!!!
Onto Dessert Salted Butter Almond Polenta cake with roasted apple, Tonka bean custard, apple caviar and meringue.
Here hubby bragged that he had the perfect non alcoholic pairing with his Appletiser...perfect ending to the meal. Shew those little apple pearls/ caviar, YUMMY with the tonga custard and the cake. Perfect ending our meal. Loved it!!!
We’ve been here quite a few times and have always really enjoyed ourselves. The degustation menu was a lovely balance of flavours but not quite perfect which is why it just missed out on 5 stars.
