The restaurant had a fantastic ambiance. We were there to try out the restaurant week menu, which turned out to be a great value for our money. Initially, we were a bit skeptical about the portion sizes, but we left the restaurant satisfied and couldn't have eaten another bite.

Scala really delivers on their promise, "not your mama's pasta". The pasta was amazing, the ingredients taste other worldly and the service was on point. Will definitely be returning to try everything they have to offer! Wow...the dessert. Still dreaming about it!

The three-course meal I enjoyed was a culinary journey that I won't soon forget. To start, the antipasto was a burst of flavors with fresh ingredients that were clearly of the highest quality. The main course was a masterpiece, with perfectly cooked pasta that was a testament to the chef's skill. And the dessert? It was a sweet symphony of tastes that left me wanting more.

What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that my dining experience was flawless. They recommended the perfect wine pairings for each course, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
