great food in a beautiful setting.
Great experience
It’s been a long time since we last visited the restaurant
We arrived promptly at 7pm and were shown to any table of our choice, either inside or outside. At first we chose outside, but as there was a nip in the air we changed our minds and found a table inside.

The place is very old and it does come through in the decor. The atmosphere was non existent, only some music coming from a nearby wedding. Some music in the restaurant would change things completely.
Now to the food.
For starters I had the roasted beets, with rocket, Feta mousse and candied wall nuts. It was an absolute winner and I almost licked my plate clean, the beets were sweet and the mousse just added the extra.
Hubby had the Moroccan chicken kebabs, which he throughly enjoyed.
Mains I had the steak and chips with mushroom sauce and hubby had the fish. Both dished were devoured and plates left empty. The mushroom sauce was delicious and made the steak that extra bit better.
Dessert we had the baked cheesecake and the death by chocolate, I was so full at thod point that I hate half my cheesecake, which was lovely but I am not a fan of sweet items. Hubby loved his death by chocolate and finished everything.
All in all a lovely culinary experience.
Good food, good service, beautiful place.
I can recommend the restaurant as a great experience
