Food was very average. The plating and food itself did not live up to the expectations we had from reading the descriptions on the restaurant week offers. For example, "CATCH OF THE DAY
YOUR CHOICE OF TENDER GRILLED OR CRISPY BATTERED & DEEP FRIED LINE FISH,
ACCOMPANIED BY OUR CRISPY TRIPLE-FRIED CHIPS, AND A ZESTY TARTAR SAUCE.
THIS CULINARY MASTERPIECE CELEBRATES THE FLAVOURS OF THE SEA WITH A
DELIGHTFUL PABLO TWIST" was hake and chips with a dollop of tartar sauce/coleslaw in a small bowl on the side.

Always a good sign when the complimentary bread starter (with hummus) is delicious. Sriracha Prawn roll was really tasty. And the smokiness of the 4-cheese fillet. Looking forward to trying one of the Pablo breakfasts.

The décor at Pablo at The Mint Hotel has a signature colour palate of teal and rust, pressed ceilings and layout which combines intimate lower banquet seating and more social bar height tables.
