However small things like the table wasn’t set properly - missing napkins and cutlery wasn’t great but not unforgivable. The starters were fantastic. We had the salt and pepper squid, the French onion soup and the Roquefort, pear, walnut and honey crostini. All were delicious and rather large portions. For mains, the table was divided equally into the kingklip and steak. Both were done to perfection, and generous portions! We decided to try all 3 desserts on offer and only the crème brûlée was really good. The chocolate fondant was a tad dry and cakey. I don’t even know what to say about the meringue and custard, because it was disappointing to say the least. The waiter told the manager that we weren’t happy with some of the desserts and she Immediately came to us offering us other options, but we declined. She did bring some lovely cookies with the bill. Overall, the ambience and decor is stunning, the service is friendly and welcoming, drinks were fabulous and food was delicious.

freedom
Freedom is understood as either having the ability to act or change without constraint or to possess the power and resources to fulfill one’s purpose.
When you realise you are outside the gate. Broken free of the walls of the city. The walls of your mind. Your age, what you own, who you think you are, what other people think of you – none of it matters. You are free. Riding fast across the open land, sunlight and horizon before you. You didn’t even know what freedom was – until you tasted it. And now there is no going back.
