This very popular venue, with its chic 70’s décor gives a lovely el fresco feel with its open spaces and pumping music.
For our starters we shared their Ceviche and Halloumi.
The Ceviche, made from fresh Norwegian salmon, was beautifully refreshing and served on thin Melba.
The Halloumi was equally well prepared, fried in a lite tempura batter, giving the cheese a lovely crunch (and not oily at all). This was served with a dash of sweet chili sauce and some fragrant fresh rocket leaves.
For our mains we shared their Lamb Cutlets and Chicken Schnitzel.
The cutlets were perfectly prepared medium rare as ordered, and were seasoned to perfection. This was served on top of a dollop of minted yoghurt and baby potatoes. The potatoes were deliciously crunchy having been fried in butter and parsley.
The schnitzels, which were covered in crisp panko crumbs were freshly prepared and very tasty (while also not being oily at all). This was served with mash and a side sauce. The mash while being tasty had a grainy texture, which was a bit unusual for a silky mash and the side sauce unfortunately did not taste of anything and was very watery.
The managers on duty were extremely friendly as were our waiter during our visit. A great first visit.
