Everything about this restaurant is amazing. From getting served swiftly to tasty food. We literally waited less than 10 minutes for our food to be ready. Jeremiah our waiter was very kind and well spoken. The atmosphere was just amazing as well.

The Rock is one of my favourite restaurants however, yesterday was not so great.We booked to have our date night, The food was great, service was slow, there were two young girls who were sitting behind us they were very loud which made our experience a distasteful one

The outside seating area has a state-of-the-art retractable awning structure which is perfect for dining under the stars but keeps you warm and dry on a colder day too.

A wide variety of delicious and decadent dishes to satisfy whatever your palate desires, are served and cooked by our esteemed Chefs to their highest standards. Burgers, pastas, sushi, pizzas, seafood, poultry, steaks and ribs will feed your appetite and you can top off your meal with an amazing array of specialty desserts. Classic and signature cocktails with a variety of Champagne and bubbly on tap complement our well-equipped designer bar. The stunning gelato bar will take your breath away.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

9. What is Restaurant Week South Africa?

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 150 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
