We ordered our food and we enjoyed the canapés, we tried all the starters and the cauliflower soup was the best. The mains were alright the beef short short rib was however great. The portions are also filling. The dessert order was wrong and because they had already closed the kitchen it could have not been rectified. No apology no incentive we were told there’s nothing they can do because it’s closed. I won’t be going back to this one nor the one in town. I will also be publishing a TikTok video vocalising My experience
Amazing food ! Amazing service! Thank you Sam and Parmela and of course the talented kitchen staff.
Had an amazing experience
Sitting in the warm afternoon autumn sun we enjoyed a fantastic meal, excellent service from Petronella and wonderful company. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday afternoon. The cauliflower soup and lamb neck were absolutely delicious and worth returning for.

About Grub & Vine Norval
Cuisine: International
Situated at the Norval Foundation – a custodian and haven for African visual art – Grub & Vine Norval by Chef Matt Manning serves elegant bistro-style fare paired with fantastic wine in an idyllic Winelands setting that pays homage to nature’s own artistry.
Our menu is small and seasonal, with an emphasis on honest cooking and fresh produce while our wine list features South Africa’s most talented producers, as well as a hand-picked selection of fine wines from around the world.
“Art – whether it be visual, culinary or the artistry of winemaking – invokes emotion. It has the power to make you feel nostalgic, invigorated or inspired. We not only believe in the beautiful synergy between food, wine and art; we want our guests to feel it too.”
