I had a wonderful experience, some meals were peculiar however it was marvellous
Would of preferred less Tofu on the menu.

Ambiance? A fairytale 😍
We had the Restaurant Week Menu , which was great value for money, with robust portions for a tasting menu. Upon entering Nikkei we were greeted with warm and inviting service, genuinely attentive.

Read full reviewWe had the 8 course set menu. The food was excellent, the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 was that the edamame was a bit too salty and the batter over the calamari was a bit too thick but none of that stopped us from eating all of it. The portions are generous to the point that we took some of it home - my husband and I are big eaters :-). We enjoyed all the courses but to our surprise our favourite was the Fried Tofu Sushi. Evans is a friendly and attentive waitron. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It was very quiet on the weekday lunch but I imagine the atmosphere will be great with more people. We will definitely be back for more of the tasty food.
