Read full reviewI wouldn’t recommend this place. The food is absolutely horrible. The mussels sauce was watery and lacked flavour. The trio of duck was dripping blood for 3 of us at the table. There’s only one person who had his duck made well we were then told by the chef that’s the “standard”. Which doesn’t make sense because it wasn’t cooked the same way for all of us. I’ve had amazing duck at other restaurants never experienced such rubbery meat. I had to be firm with the chef because he already came with the “I know” mentality. At some point our race was involved in our preference which was beyond offensive. We hated everything including the noisy music. We thought we were going for fine dining but found a lounge set up more than anything. I absolutely don’t appreciate being treated as though I am uncultured. Black doesn’t mean backward or uncivilised. That’s just nonsense and it speaks to the values and principles of their workers. Disgusting
Enjoyable 👌🏽
Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere and great service
The food was lovely and sophisticated, well balanced flavors and beautiful presentation. However, one of our deserts was made completely of canned peaches. This is not something I want when spending more then R500 per person.
Restaurant really needs to work on their service.
