Its a beautiful restaurant with great food. They could improve on the service but overall great experience.

From the moment we stepped into Tempo Luxury Restaurant, we were enchanted by its elegant ambiance. Each dish i sampled with my family was a culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The one meal you have to try is the Confit Duck, wow what a dish. Overall Tempo has a delightful atmosphere with attentive service.

The decor & vibe of the restaurant was good.
Sadly, the food was below average. My main meal of ravioli only had 3 instead of 4 ravioli, 2 of them were broken, & there was an element missing - crispy chicken skin crisp (it was taken off the dish/menu, however even the waiter & didn't know this until I queried it)....

A few things took away from what could have been a better dining experience:
1-The glass doors & windows were being cleaned & there were 2 guys measuring a booth behind our table (the tape measure was against my backrest) while we were having our meal - Tempo opens at 12h00 - do this before your guests arrive, not while they are trying to enjoy lunch.
2-Customers are allowed to smoke a hubbly/hooka in the main seating area - this makes trying to eat a meal an unpleasant experience (especially for non smokers) - have a designated area for those who want to use this while they eat.

Because it is restaurant week, we expected more, but were left disappointed.

Food was late. Yes, the managers did apologize and give us drinks for free but when it did arrive, it was either overcooked or it didn't gave any favour.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

You will receive a confirmation for every reservation within a few minutes at the email address you provided. Haven't received anything? Please check your spam folder.
