Everything was lovely from the service provided to the food given. We loved everything.
The service from the waitors was excellent (friendly, courteous and well presented). The food was average, I think the presentation could be better and more flavourful.
We went on a sunday and the 'guy' who welcomed us had sneakers, jeans and a branded t-shirt on, so I wasn't sure if he works there or is a guest in the hotel.
Not sure if it was 'casual' sunday and I normally appreciate if its not too stuck-up, however this was for a 4star hotel/restaurant a bit much.

We had a as Salmon with truffle which was in my opinion the best of all three dishes.
The main was baby chicken on mushrooms... with very little else. the chicken was ok, but nothing really to mention about it as the same applies for the dessert.
Overall for that price range... not what I would have expected. Average standard food highly overpriced.

I found the Mains Chicken a bit overcooked but an overall experience was good. Service was great, with the Manager also checking in. The best part of the experience was the views of the Sandton Skyline and ambience of the decor. I would certainly recommend Central One for that special date, or just to take a step back and chill out.

All the food was fresh and well prepared. I particularly enjoyed the first course of salmon and the boneless chicken second course. I thought the chocolate brownies could have been softer and warmer. The drinks were extremely overpriced with a bottle of water for the table costing about R70. All around, I enjoyed the experience and would visit this restaurant again.
