The food was very well presented and very tasty. The portions are quite small but we nevertheless left well satisfied after our 3 course - meal. The place has a special ambience. Overall an extremely nice experience and we had a pleasant night out with our friends.

We visited Granita signature restaurant as they participated in the 2017 Autumn Restaurant week. The restaurant is situated in Kievitskroon country estate in Kameeldrift East.
They were able to confirm the booking for lunch at 14:00 but on arrival they indicated the restaurant closes at 14:00. After showing them their confirmation they asked us to wait for a moment while they set up a table.
The waiter was not 100% clear on the restaurant week concept and after placing the order had to return to clarify and make changes. Despite the wobbly start, the rest of the experience was handled in the professional manner to be expected of this establishment. The waiters were friendly and helpful.
The food was really good ... the fillet/oxtail combination was done to perfection and a feast for the palate - plating on standard. My husband enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake and I was thoroughly happy with the dark chocolate tart for dessert ... seriously indulging and a great choice!
I can recommend them for a lovely, above average eating experience! We enjoyed the afternoon with them in a picturesc setting.

Kievits Kroon is a venue deserving of a day and not only a lunch hour. The grounds are immaculate and the serenity invasive. We enjoyed our lunch at Granita. Would advise guest to start with an aperitif in the library and end with a coffee on the veranda

Lord Charles venue is situated on the first floor and offers a variety on dining options for a more private event experiences or large restaurant group, in addition to its magnificent position, it also offers a lounge and cocktail bar leading onto verandas with a grand view of the estate, all housed in Cape Dutch-style architecture buildings.
