The service was excellent.
The food tasted great, but R300 was a lot for what we got. Pumpkin soup and a samosa as entrée. Starters were a minced lamb kebab, a piece of chicken breast 2cm × 2cm and another samosa. The main was a pot of rice, delicious naan and a curry.

The dessert on the set menu, as well as the normal menu, had completely sold out. There was only ice cream available. The ice cream was good, but if you're hosting restaurant week and know how many people will be coming, one would expect that you'd be prepared with enough stock. The wine list was good, but out of the 3 bottles our table ordered 2 were also out of stock.
All in all, our company was great, the service was excellent, the food tasted great, and if we'd paid R200 per person instead of R300, I would have had no problem giving it a great review.

We had lunch at Geet for Restuarant week. It was a three course meal.
Starter - Prince of pumpkin soup, very tasty well balanced soup with spice and roasted fennel as well sweet corn for sweetness.
Main - They offered us 5 different options to try chicken, lamb, prawn, fish and ostrich. Each was made in a unique and very flavorful curry that paired perfectly with the meat. This was served with naan breads and basmati rice. Ostrich was the stand out here and definitely a must try.
Dessert - Was either goolub jumbo with vanilla ice cream, goolub is almost like a koeksister. The other option resembled a caramel cheese cake with berry ice cream this was excellent but very sweet so only have it if you have a sweet tooth.
Geet has a great wine selection to suit any meal and time of day, service is great and friendly. It was quite when we were there for lunch, not much of an atmosphere but I can imagine the place bustling at night.
Great service. The waiter made recommendations about the food and ended up ordering what she thought we would like. She was spot on and we had the best varieties of curry's.
Great food.
