She tried to make up for this, by bring the main course straight after the starter. So we tasted it and put the meal in take-away containers as it was too soon after the starter. When I asked the waitress how many ml the glass of wine is, she said "supposed to be 250 ml bu the barman doesn't always fill it to the right level, so it is safer to get the bottle." The food was nice, but we did not receive exactly what was on the menu. We spent a lot of time reading the menu to decide which one to choose, but should not have done so, because it was only a more or less of what was described. Eg Paul did not get his goat's cheese samoosa, and our Naans were only garlic, I did not get the mushroom one as described for my meal, and a few other variations. Also, we were near tables where they were extremely noisy, apparently they had been drinking since lunch-time. It was far from romantic. The taste of the food was nice, and I might go back for a meal to try again, but not a 3 course with restaurant week as it was not worth it.
A friend and I had lunch at Geet on Tuesday. The service was great. The ambience was good. The food was tasty. I highly recommend Geet.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and taken to our table.
Great variety of menus (3) to choose from - which was awesome.
Also a superb wine list with excellent quality wines to choose from - Stunning Wine List!

Our first course and second course was out of this world, we couldn't get enough!! The dessert was also good, but not as good as the two first courses.
Geet will definitely see us again in the future - Well-done!
Food was good just didn't like my chicken starter felt it was bland no taste wasn't even offered a substitute. Main was much better and the ice cream was heavenly. I was just let down by my starter it was extremely disappointing. The cocktails and shooters were excellent. Service was good.
There wasn't much to recommend our meal at all. The choice of starters was very limited, and lacking in flavour. More choice with the mains and they were tastier, but they were cold when they arrived at the table. More choice with the mains and they were tastier, but they were cold when they arrived at the table. We did send them back, but they were still cold when they were brought back, and we couldn't be bothered to send them back for a second time. Also, we were missing one of the accompanying dishes. The desserts were quite average and they brought 2 of our party the incorrect items. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow throughout the whole meal, so those 2 people decided to give up on dessert. Overall, I felt this was not good value for money.
