Overall a good experience. We did feel the food lacked in some areas, such as the French Onion Soup was so thick it was more of an onion marmalade (also very sweet) and the Eton Mess was not balanced; but the fillet and salmon were cooked well and generally delicious dishes. The ambience was good and the setting is always stunning.
Great evening was had by all. Fillet was superb
Fantastic food and service irrespective of the loadshedding/rolling blackouts that occurred. We had candles at the tables so the atmosphere was still great. Kitchen did great work throughout all the Eskom power struggles.
Absolutely excellent from start to finish. But more than the excellent food, the staff went over above to make our time there absolutely wonderful.
Excellent food
